Our initiativePositive Directions Through Dance

PDTD is DIW’s signature community outreach initiative. We meet communities where they already gather: classrooms, after-school programs, hospitals, housing developments, community centers, and the spaces their members trust.

Every program is grounded in technique, leadership, and the confidence that comes from disciplined creative practice. PDTD is how we extend rigorous, equity-centered dance education beyond our 14th Street studios and into the lives of children, teens, and adults across the region.
