Our Productions
Transformation Through DanceÂ
The DIW season is a living demonstration of our core belief: everyone should have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of dance. We invite community members to perform in our productions, which are presented in locations and at prices that are accessible to all. Our most popular production, The Spirit of Kwanzaa, features dancers from across the DMV in a celebration of shared history and culture. By coming together to create and watch these performances, we strengthen our community and illuminate the experiences of the diaspora.

Through training classes, seminars, and workshops, Community on 14th provides essential networking and career development opportunities for D.C. talent. We know that a career in the arts can provide financial stability, but the pathway has historically been blocked by identity and financial barriers.
