Requirements: In order to enroll in this program, candidates must meet these Requirements:
Be between 18-24 years old
Live within the DMV area
Be SNAP recipient or demonstrate economic need
Attend one of our upcoming auditions
Registration & Enrollment Process:
Step 1: Register for a Placement Audition. Step 2: DIW will notify the dancer of their results from the Placement Audition within a week. Please note that attending the Placement Audition does not guarantee a place in our Program as space is limited. If dancer is not accepted into our program or if we do not have space, we will notify you by email within one week of the audition date. Please do not continue to steps 4 and 5 until you have received confirmation from DIW. Registering in Jackrabbit and paying the Registration fee do not guarantee placement in our program. Step 3: Once you have received confirmation from DIW, please fill out this registration form: (Form will appear here once registration is open) You will receive a confirmation email and access to your Enrollment Portal. Step 4: Begin the Enrollment Process by logging into your provided account. Make sure you submit all required forms (These forms are the Dancer Contract (found in the Student Handbook), Media & Events Form, Dismissal Liability form, Disciplinary Action Form, Covid Liability Form, Financial Aid Application, and W-9 Form (with all necessary supporting documents as needed) by the given deadline. Please submit via email to our Registrar Erin Johnson (ejohnson@danceinstitute.org) Step 5: Look for an email from our Registrar that will include your final schedule and financial offer. You will receive enrollment confirmation communications.
